Overview

I was the lead UX designer on a cross-functional team for Fitbit's first-ever on-device stress tracking system, starting with the innovative EDA Scan app - launched in 2020 - followed by continuous stress tracking - launched in 2022.

tHE Challenge

Despite the limitations of Fitbit's first-generation stress tracking sensor, I designed a user-centered and award-winning stress management experience, navigating numerous technical constraints.

Impact

• The EDA Scan app is the fourth most-used app on the Sense smartwatch

• Fitbit’s stress management experience won multiple awards (IDEA, Good Design)

• I set the standard for stress features across Fitbit platforms and devices
